FT-920

Ol' timer age 89 with untouched 920, #any mode: must cycle Power when switch TX / RX or RX / TX ( is locked in TX after TUNE cycle), #when cycle Power OFF then ON for Rcve---must repeat for Tx condx ( go thru TUNE cycle again). VOX and MAN do not work any mode, is using Ext keyer but makes no diff--still not work straight key VOX or MAN. Nothing connected externally but Ant and DC power cable. Ideas please. Maybe can try by-pass tuner or is something that can be done in Service Menu mode? Next step : #back to Yaesu? All he has is his Ham Radio to keep happy and busy. tnx # AL #k2erg@arrl.net

There is a group on Yahoo that is all about the FT-920 and there are several posts about the radio, problem is you have to search or ask the question there. They want you to join before you can look but its free and they dont spam you here is the link good luck
