Just something to add to...

Mine is a 706 MKIIG, AH-4 Auto Tuner, Ball mount with a tuneable 15M Hamstick. VHF/UHF I use a generic mag-mount dualband whip. And yes, this whole setup is mobile.

So I guess I'd be KI4VPR Mobile 4.

Oh and talked to HK1XX from Colombia yesterday on 40M Mobile!

Most of my ops take place in the mobile. Station includes an Icom 746, a Yaesu FT-100 and a kenwood TM-741 for FM use on 70cm, 2m and 6m. Antennas include a 2m/70cm dual band whip, a six meter whip, a two meter square loop, a scredriver antenna and a hustler resonator system that can be attatched if removal of the screwdriver is required (repair, maint, ect.). The base station is an Icom 746 feeding a dipole thru a roller inductor tuner. (sounds kinda puny compared to the mobile setup huh?) Have included a pic of the mobile install.

Home = TS-2000X and a TS-790A with 1296 module. IC-706MK2G as a general FM and backup rig.

Sold most of my mobile gear. Only thing left is a TM-733A KW 2xband which serves the purpose.

My mobile IS my shack - no rigs at home except for the collection of Motorola Handie Talkies, including the newest from Santa, an HT1000.

From the tops: Motorola GM300 on 440 and GMRS, control head for Motorola Syntor X - 135 watts on 2m, and holding up the bottom of the pile the control head for my Kenwood TS480 HF rig.
