Is anyone hearing this? It's right around 3.794. Someone is sending QTC, and then other stations replying with series of numbers. Definitely not ham, there are never any callsigns. Sometimes the numbers are mixed with letters forming a coded message.

Probably way too late. Just tuned in (0425Z 18 Dec) and didn't hear it. Probably either military (but not US military) or ship board (but not US flagged ships as they don't do CW anymore.) Periodically I hear marine CW still on the marine frequencies, usually hand-sent, and often I hear both sides of the contact. But I would guess it's mostly South American stuff. Wish I had heard it. But my guess is it is marine. The question is, what country? And they probably are authorized to be there.

I'll listen over the next few nights. Might hear it.

Sounds intriguing. #I'll have to listen for it. #

QTC (traffic count) is used in some CW contests, for a reason that escapes me. #The letters you heard may be cut numbers. #T=0; A=1; 3=W; 4=V; H=5; B=6; G=7; D=8; N=9. #If you heard more than those letters amid the figures, they may indeed be cryptic comms.

Added: And the Croatian CW contest is this weekend. You may have heard some of that, and remember not all countries share our ID laws.
