I have a compaq series2833 PCMCIA laptop floppy that I used with my compaq laptop. I haven't tested it on other brand machines, but it should work and be recognized. It's a great little drive if you have a laptop with a swapable floppy/cdrom and don't have the floppy.
It's physically small and is powered through the PCMCIA
slot. It weighs less than a pound and should ship pretty cheaply. Can email photos if desired. $20 plus shipping.
