The North American Youth Net will NOT hold its normal net on December 24th due to the amount of people that will not be around the radio.. We will instead make our December 31st a special New Years Eve ragchew net. We want to make this our biggest net ever, going into the new year..
The North American Youth Net meets on the air for the purpose of encouraging youth to get on the air. We invite all young hams with their general license or above to check in, of course we also invite Tech's to check in using a control op. If you have a son or daughter in the shack when are net begins, tune to 14.329.. We invite checkins from non-hams with a control op.
The special ragchew net will start at 2300 and will end whenever.. the normal net lasts about 15-20 minutes.. we want this one to last till 0000 or so..
If you are a young ham with a general class license.. join in the fun, invite your friends over.. and lets make this net a success.. Get your friends on the air, encourage them to get licensed.. and help support amateur radio's future..
Don't forget ARRL Kids Day.. Jan 2...
