What more can I say.....when I see that guy in his "no spin zone" I feel ashamed to be a citizen of the same country as he.

I've never been ashamed to be from this country. It amazes me when people say that. Do people force others to remain here?
Anyway, Bill is an over-opinionated blowhard. I love that. I agree with him more often than not. I think his show is interesting and entertaining.

There is nothing that is holding you here, you are not in a correctional facility, a medical facility, is there something that is preventing you from leaving?
Maybe you might like it better in... China, Cuba, Mexico, Sri Lanka, or even Canada.
As for Bill O Reily, I never watch him, when is he on?

Gee, Willy, Bill says the same thing about you. Guess you two must have something in common.

Yep, ole Chester the Molestor is a real piece of work. As is all of fox news. No wonder Canada won't let this ship of fools broadcast there.

You don't have to be. You can be a citizen of any one of hundreds of other countries. Maybe even two or three of them at the same time. Take your pick.
Don't wait for Streisand, Asner, Baldwin, and those others to leave. They were lying when they said they were going. You don't want to be in that category, I'm sure.
As to Bill, well, he's just another talk show dude. I don't like talk shows, so I don't watch him, unless I'm totally bored and looking for something to complain about. Like you must be.
But that's pretty rare for me, as I find lots of things to hold my interest, and Bill O'Reilly isn't one of them, though he must hold yours. Well, to each his own. I keep the remote handy in case I find something I don't want to watch. Hope you find yours.
Merry Season's Greetings!

I view O'Reilly along the same lines as Howard Stern or Eminem... These guys just know what they're audience wants to hear.

Yes, and he is an ENTERTAINING BLOWHARD that asks tough questions. Like him or not, he is never boring.
As for those allegations of naughty talk, does anybody remember what Anita Hill tried to pull on Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas? As far as I'm concerned, anybody that has a high public profile runs the chance of being the subject of a smear campaign.

Yes, Bill is a controversial guy.
He does not have a problem asking the hard questions,
or using logic.
As for you being ashamed to be an American, I will only say this: GET THE HECK OUT!

Oh yeah!!?? I want to hear him say it though, if that guy liked me I wouldn't get any sleep at night.
Bill says what he thinks, asks tough questions and jumps your case if you try to dodge a question.
He is conservative on some issues. He is liberal on some issues. He is his own person.
What is wrong with that?

To everyone who feels I can, should, would, could, get the heck out I reply:
I want to be here when you guys loose Morse as a requirement.
As far as Bill O goes, he is a typical insufferable know it all Irish *ss. Possessed within him are all the qualities that make Americans the ignorant, boneheaded goons they are.

Sounds to me like he'd leave today if we'd drop the Morse requirement for a ham ticket. Since he dislikes America but wants to torture himself to stick around till the Morse goes away. Sorry to hear old CW is holding him in a place he hates. No, come to think of it, I'm not, either. Good punitive measures, in fact - kinda like living in prison after all. Yeah, I like that!

(See how easily we progressed from O'Reilly to the REAL problem? Morse code. Ah, now we understand.)

Perhaps this has been mentioned before, but the thing that cracks me up the most about O'Reilly is not his extremist wacko views, it's the fact that he claims all this 'no spin' crap. What a load, it's about the most biased reporting I think I've ever seen or heard, much like most of the garbage on Fox News. Don't get me wrong, CNN and a host of others are really no better, but all that 'fair and balanced' talk always makes me laugh when I hear the content of their supposedly unbaised reporting. What a joke, these people expect us to take them seriously when they claim to be fair, then they pump out some of the most blatant propaganda ever. Too funny.

YCO: 100% correct. You know it...and I know it...but the main thing is: It flys with the masses, and the masses are the ones that controll destiny.
The two guys I don't like are the cretin from The Daily Show (Jon Stewart) and Bill Mahr.
To be fair, I don't think thay like me either http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

I have heard that they have this nifty little invention now called a remote control. From what I understand it can be used to change to one of the other 149 chanels on your television when someone comes on who you don't like. I also understand that it has an on and off button on it so you can turn the whole set off.
I think I may look into getting me one of these new fangled devices so I don't have to keep sitting here watching the women on the View and Oprah. At least Martha is not on while in prision. Oh I dread parole. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif
The reason FOX News and Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity and the rest are gaining on the traditional media is that they offer perpectives that are simply not addressed by the others - perspectives that happen to mesh with those of us in "flyover country" (i.e., the red counties, which covers 90% of America). Is it fair and balanced? Well, maybe not, but it is interesting and when taken with the other side you can begin to form an educated opinion.
I like most of O'Reilly's opinions, but I do not care for his interruptive style. He tends to interrupt liberals and argue with them more than conservatives, and I think he relishes getting someone on who he can tear to pieces. I don't enjoy watching any of the talk show hosts interrupt and out-yell each other. I have better uses for my time.

One thing that makes Canada attractive from a ham radio perspective is that Johnny Johnston didn't have the jurisdiction to get his hands into their rules and regulations and screw them up like he did ours. You can still legally run a real kilowatt on AM. None of that bogus p.e.p. bull$#!+
Also, no subbands, by mode or licence class.

It would be nice to turn the whole world off but I think if it could be done it would only be in your own mind.
