Quote[/b] ]MONTREAL (CP) - Federal Transport Minister Jean Lapierre ordered an investigation into missing airport uniforms Saturday and alerted Canada's airport screeners to double-check identification.
"Since 1 p.m. this afternoon, at the 89 airports across the country, we're double-checking the identification cards, not only when (employees) enter the premises, but also during the work shift," Lapierre told reporters after a meeting of the Liberal party's Quebec wing.
Lapierre's comments were in response to a report by CBC-TV's The National that hundreds of uniforms and badges worn by Canadian airport security screeners have gone missing in the months following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks despite heightened security.

So, the terrorists in security uniforms, complete with badges, let their friends onto planes at Canadian airports, and what happens after that?

they sit there while the air crews and the control towers argue about whether to speak french or english and then the flight gets canceled because winter has set in and it's snowing!

Yeah, I heard there were 1,100 uniforms missing but only 400 badges... I guess they need to steal about 700 more badges. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif
