Does anyone else own this rig?? and does a schematic for it exist?
I bought this at a hamfest some time ago, and until recently, it has been an awesome mobile rig for me. But the VHF attenuator has become stuck in the on position, and rendered the radio useless. I have been chasing dead ends for months to find a service manual or a schematic for it, or even somone else has experienced the same problem, and discovered a solution for it....Is there a way to bypass the attenuator altogether, and if so, where is the attenuator. If anyone could offer up some help, that would be great. I am cheap, and do not want to by a rig with a detechable head, because that is the only way to fit a radio in my newer honda.
