So whats new?

I days gone by it was quite common for grave robbers to dig up newly buried bodies to sell to surgeons for medical research. Try Googling "Burke and Hare" to get the story on two practicioners body snatching.

This case is a bit different, it seems to be inspired by animal liberation sickos getting at the poor womans son.

NJ1K -- Would you want someone digging up your grandma for ungastly use by theifs of night?

Grave robbing has always been a off and on happening,
more on than off in England. This is why Dracula made an apperance in England.

Would like going into a grave yard at night and digging up a corpse?

First you don't know what put them there,
second you may or may not be able to handel
the site of the corpse when you open the coffin,
and third it's a gastly, unholy thing to do.
You could be releasing the soul of evil to walk the earth.

Think about it!!!

"Land of the Ghastly?" Gee, I didn't know that England was known by that name. Jack the Ripper was a HELL of a long time ago.

Don't you think the U.S. has had it's share of fog and Jacks?

Do a little looking on the "Green River" killer.

http://www.greenriverkiller.com/Nav.htm

How about the guy from Spokane that was going around killing prostitutes? He EVEN buried one right outside his bedroom window, living at home with his wife and family. Hell, we'll never know how many he REALLY killed---he spent time in Germany in the military, as was implicated in his first killing, at a young age.

(Robert Lee Yates)

Who was the guy running around putting young boys into freezers?

I think you'd better worry about "our" own back yard--we have PLENTY of child kidnappings and other gore--every week.

This is not the kind of subject matter that fits in with ham radio on a ham radio internet forum....

As for "releasing the soul of evil to walk the earth", who is to say it has not already been released and walking the earth as we type (and read)??

As for "Would like going into a grave yard at night and digging up a corpse?",,, who is to say I haven't done this already??

NJ1K -- This is a open forum that is not just for Ham Radio. I don't think you would be able to lift a coffin and vault. Nor would you be able to open the vault without special tools. You see over the past 30 + years states have been requiring vaults when burrying a loved one. And Vaults are heavy.

Now there are killings in the US, true enough. But, we don't have hardley any cases of grave robbing. Now Jolly O'l England it's happened alot.

Yes but we had Jeffery Dammlier <sp> who took in young boys, Killed them, Cooked them and Ate them. The US is far worse then England was. Jack the Ripper was a long time ago and I read that he was from the Royal Family some how??
I am sure there were plenty of "Grave Robbers" here as well!

I personally Like England. It is a GREAT country!

I'm not knocking England, I'm simply expounding on some of the country's history that's somewhat on the gastly side.

Yes we had Jeffery Dammlier, but, he never dug up dead people. First of all the embalming fluid would have done him in when went to eat the human meat and it would take a truck with a small crane to lift the vault and coffin from the grave.

This is a grave in Cornwall England which was robbed by the UnHoly. They release a evil sprit that still walks theearth, even today. Beware the unholy. Remember this when you go to visit the dead in a funeral home, if you piss them off they will return!!!

KWW is beginning to worry me.

Is he a wannabe Prince of Darkness or something?
He seems to have an unhealthy interest in graves.
Has he missed his medicine for a couple of days?

The most famous and notorious grave robery in the United States prior to Ed Gein of Plainfield, Wisconcin involved two U.S. presidents.
The corpse was the son of William Henry Harrison and the father of Benjiman Harrison.
The Corpse was discovered by Benjiman Harrison while searching a medical school for another missing body.
The results were laws alowing the disection of unclaimed bodies.

You want to try ghastly... Visit any internet site that has death and dismemberment involved in it, and it's there.

Some of you probably know what site I am talking about and it begins with an 'R' and ends with an 'N'.

I myself will never go back to that site because some photos I saw literally freaked me out a little too much to ever visit it again.
