Yanno the Bible speaks of Israel being attacked by her neighbors to the North. Take a look at a map... The only country directly to the North of Israel... Is Syria.

Yeah, but this news story that FR posted is claiming that Russia had something to do with the missing weapons of late. No wonder Putin didn't want nothing to do with Iraqi Liberation.
It came out that the French were caught their "pants down"- they did not want to go Iraq either.
The only one left is Germany-Deutchland. I wonder what we will be hearing about them? http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif
BTW, VPR, if you check your geography, Lebanon is to the north of Israel and it's more north than Syria.

Ummmm, wow...
Have to break out my maps again. I think we're both correct though. I was coming from the thought process that Syria DOES directly BORDER Israel. Least I'm pretty sure it does. If Lebanon wanted to attack, my thought is that they'd have to fly through Syria to do it.
Right or wrong on that?

Well, the Goalon Heights are located in Lebanon on Israel's northern boarder (the Israelis occupied that area for a few of years).
I wonder if the mainstream media will pick up on this story that FR Posted? I kinda doubt it. That would make our President look good. Silly me for thinking that in the first place.

Either they pulled the story, or my browser/firewall won't let me see it.
On the site AI4FR gave, I get the two paragraph deal, then I click on full story, and I get a blank page, no full story.
I tried accessing it through the Washington Times site, and it was blank too. Is there a full story? Or just the two paragraphs?
Putin is a strange guy...ex KGB man, who has a hard time getting used to 'freedom.'
Not to mention some of his comments on the Iraq situation are down right confusing. This would not surprise me.

Looks like they pulled it. I clicked on the link that said "FULL STORY" and got nothing. The two paragraph teaser is all we get I guess.

Same here.
I'm running Spybot and it blocked four different 'threats' before it let me see the first link.
Clicking on the 'full story' link took another block, and then it was blank where the story should have been.
It's links like these that make me glad that these 'puter programs work like they should.
No thanks to MicroSoft.

try this link guys, I got it off the drudge report:
http://www.washingtontimes.com/national/20041028-122637-6257r.htm
Also, they're reporting it on Foxnews, sort of, so it's gonna be hard to hide this one I think. It really is a big story.
While the story about moving weapons to Syria prior to the war has been around for a long time, no one in the "mainstream" media has really covered it.
Fox News had the Russia story in its lineup this morning.

If it pans out that the Russians can explain and are willing to share this information, it would bolster the reasons why we went to Iraq.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out. But it will be more interesting to see the expressions on the Dems faces when they find out that this was true. A real Kodak moment, to be sure. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Not Osama, the Russians. Read the the article.
Oh, I get it. You think this was pre planned right? As I have posted before, and it's comming true, people like you will try to blame Bush for this happening. You blame him for everything else and this will be no exception. Today, some eviromentalist wacko is now trying to blame The President for, of all things, the hurricanes in Florida. They even have this accusation plastered on bill boards. Every time I hear some doofus make unsubstainated claims like this, I remind myself of how greatful I am that I switched party affiliations.
The Democrats have lost it! This isn't the party of FDR, or Truman anymore.

Amen w5klb!!! I have talked to a lot of old time hard core democrats. And they all seem to agree on one thing. They did not leave the democratic party, it has left them.
And I will repeat what I have said many times, the democrats of today are like the socialists of yesterday and the republicans of today are like the democrats of yesterday.
