Hi All , Lord howe is presently active, although many problems with propagation, due to mountainous areas blocking sigs. & poor atmospheric cond.Also there have been problems with location of antennae due to cattle on the Island - three lots of coax have been chewed in half ! I guess thats what is called roughage.
Be patient they are doing there best , also they have had some nasty wx. & my xyl reports severe qrnon the lower bands. They will start to dismante stns tomorrow & leave the Isl saturday, although should be still up & running untill late tomorrow evening. Calls for YL ops VK9LW / OM's VK9LA
