View Full Version : New QRP Club -- with a difference!
Hello all:
I'd like to announce the formation of a new QRP club, one I feel is "different" in several respects.
The North American QRP CW Club is devoted 100 percent to QRP and QRPp CW operation. Membership is 100 percent free and open to all licensed radio amateurs and shortwave listeners worldwide. Please tell all your QRP operator friends.

Tom: Just signed up for myself and my Elmer WA9TPZ...WoW 80 sprint sounds fun. Looks like my extended double Zepp must go back up for the winter. Looks like I better order that extra 450 line. All the Best W9FNB http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

The link in the announcement will not work. you need .net not .nwt, a little fat finger typing I suppose.
the correct link is http://www.qsl.NET/kb3lfc

I just joined, and am excited about this club. I will be working the sprint on 80 straight key and all. Hope the condx god is smiling. 5 watts QRP is OK, but QRPp?-Gotta wait until the blood pressure goes down for that..Great idea, Great club..Tnx,Ken.
Yes, I made a TYPO in the Web site address for the North American QRP CW Club. It should be: www.qsl.net/kb3lfc. I typed "nwt' for "net."
Sorry for the confusion it may have caused. In less than one week we added 100-plus members. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I just gotta show off my ignorence. What is QRPp?
I am assuming it is extreemly low power. My rig only goes down to 5 watts, but Im game.

Hey I am going back to "old school". I plan on buying an 80 meter cw qrp kit transceiver, and stringing a vee. I have never worked this band period, and I want to try qrp. This looks fun.
