I just put up a 6 mtr station that I purchased over a year ago, so far the amp and 551 seem to be working. The problem is I don't get any rx meter movement even on strong birdies from my computer. I am assuming that the band is dead most of the time, and it could not give me a proper indication. Also I noticed that if I turn the RF gain all the way clock wise (OPEN) it seems to de-sensitize the reciever I have to leave it approximately 1/4 from full open to get maximum recieve. Does anyone else have expirience with this type of problem? Thanks..
