There will be no operation between 23:59-0600 hours (local time) due to the Island generators being shut down over night.

Operators are: G4GWR Andrew, G3YBT Colin, G8TTI Dave, G3PNH Bernard, G0FGR Bert, 2E0HLT Andy, G4SUX Richard & G0GRI Ian.
The Chippenham DXpedition will be operating on or near to the IOTA frequencies as per demand and propagation.
We also intend to operate on as many
satallites as possible. We certainly will be on the new ECHO FM satalite aka A0-51. We also will
attempt operation of A0-7, FO-29, SO-50, SO-41.

We do not have a lot DXpedition experience or QRQ CW experience but operators will certainly be having a go on the key.

However our Club Chairman Andrew (G4GWR)has had experience back in 1982, when he took part in a joint University College London (G3UCL)& Imperial College London (G5YC) DXPedition.
They where issued the Callsighns C31YG & C31YF, C31YG was used for all contacts on most HF bands and 2m band.
The DXPedition received sponsorship from Land Rover, in the form of a short wheelbase Land Rover. And the Amateur Radio Exchange (now Martin Lynch & sons)lent them equipment. Hoverspeed gave a discount for the Hovercraft Crossing, and the University paid for a lot of the fuel costs.
So our Lundi Island team is in good hands..HI.

GB2LI HAS NOW FINISHED...
THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR THEIR SUPPORT, AND TO ALL THE STATIONS WORKED.

THE LAST TOTAL I RECEIVED WAS 63 COUNTRIES WORKED.

THIS WASN'T A BIG EVENT, BUT IT COULDN'T HAVE WORKED WITHOUT THE OTHER STATIONS CALLING THEM.
THANKS AGAIN TO ALL
