In today's NYT there is an insightful op-ed piece by David Brooks (http://www.nytimes.com/2004/09/18/opinion/18brooks.html?th) which details the confusion and faulty machinations plaguing the Kerry campaign staff. #Agree or disagree with the author, one cannot help but think that if this is how a Presidential campaign is conducted, why should anyone think the candidate would run the White House any differently?

The NYT requires registration. #It's free and you won't get a bunch of crap emails on down the road.

Actually, Kerry is about to get in touch with his Inner GORE.

Put it back where you found it and shuddup. You're merely adding to the confusion.

Dave, with my arthritis and decrepitude you don't even
have to run all the way to the hills. I am relatively
harmless, except at hamfests! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
Remember that I am the guy everyone complains about.
I am large, I walk slow, I manage to always be in front of
those whose time is important and in a rush and I do not
bathe for six months before going to a hamfest so that
blind hams can enjoy my ambience as well! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/ghostface.gif
Hey! It works great for me. I get first shot at all of the
really cool bargains that the people behind me can't
get to because I am blocking their view! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif
I am way overdue for an appearance at the Huntsville
hamfest. See y'all there next year. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

Y'all don't worry about Kerry's chances of winning in
November. He just does not compute because of his
old, worn out Al Gore Rhythm. (Say it quickly)(For liberal's
benefit, only!)

73, Cal K4JSR I may be old, but I'm ugly to make
up for it!

Yes, Kerry is a douche bag, and I'm probably going to vote for him, anyway.

I'm reminded of the time that someone accused me of having a personality disorder. "At least," I responded, "I have my own personality".

And, Kerry has his own core. It wasn't written and directed by Karl Rove.

Of course, the core of the Republican argument is that "it isn't how you play the game, just win".

Considering Kerry's tendency to flip-flop, it's difficult to determine if he is a douche bag or an enema.

Nonetheless, your vote is interesting.

K0RGR tells us,

<span style='color:blue'>Yes, Kerry is a douche bag, and I'm probably going to vote for him, anyway. </span>

Well, Kerry IS running on the Douchebag Party ticket.

Another example of someone who just wants Bush out, and does not care WHO he's voing for. Another anti-Bush vote. Still no PRO-Kerry votes in sight!

Dummycrats would vote for a piece of my pocket lint if it were running against George Bush. Real bright. Never in their wildest DREAMS could they imagine that someone would be worse than the "evil" George Bush. Well, Kerry looks like he'd be that guy. Vote him in, and we'll ALL find out.

de k3ft..So, thinking LOGICALLY and with a sound mind.. that means, to YOU, if Joseph Stalin were running - with all you know about him - you'd probably vote for HIM, anyway. Or... Let's say Lyndon LaRouche was running against Bush you'd vote for him, anyway.. OR.. David Duke was running against Bush you'd vote for him anyway. OK. I think I understand!

And, Kerry has his own core. It wasn't written and directed by Karl Rove.

de k3ft.. No, but it IS scripted by Terry McCauliffe, the Clintons, and James Carville <GRIN>

Of course, the core of the Republican argument is that "it isn't how you play the game, just win".

de k3ft.. THIS kind of statement coming from the Party that used the courts to violate established New Jersey law to get Lautenberg into office in spite of CLEAR and UNAMBIGUOUS words to the contrary after 'the Torch' fell from grace? :-) :-)

You can't be serious about this, now can you?

Come on. admit it.. You're just carrying on the EFA game, aren'tcha! Sure you are!
RGR,,

Careful! you're about to reveal yourself as playing the same masterful game as W8EFA played! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Unfortuantely, we're 'onto the game' and it's done.

But in case you aren't gaming.. I find myself smiling rather broadly at your statement. Do you mind if I ask something, please?

This election is a real eye opener,I have never seen so many people who really don't care or give a damn about this country and if we even survive, they just want Bush removed. Is it a case of mass ignorance,or maybe some thing in the water,or is it we have a generation or two who are so damn selfish and self centered they can't see the forest for all those damn trees!! #http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif #http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

My goodness Orv didn’t you see the last election?

The real reason that Gore was not elected is because Clinton went before the nation and said “I did not have sexual relations with that woman.”

The unwashed ignorant masses took offence to that statement.

Naturally, no democrat could be trusted after that.
