That's right! I am constantly amazed at how one successful sale will "bring them out of the woodwork" !
Here is yet another Drake 1A, and if you want to look you will find another one running at the same time.

It is interesting that the starting bid for this one is the same price as the winning bid for the previous one we talked about! Co-incidence? ? ? I don't think so!
Well, anyway, it will be interesting to track these and see what other activity will come about as a result!
I still say that there is a solid place in the ham world for a solid state version of the Drake 1A - 2B type of receiver. Forget all the microprocessors, etc. Just give us a basic receiver that will stay on frequency, separate the desired station from the undesired ones, and sound good to the ear!
