Police handheld scanner wanted

Guys, Im totally new to the radio world. #Im a level 4 security officer working in the Dallas Tx area. Bruce, Check you local Radio Shack. The sell a wide range of programable scanners. I have a Radio Shack Pro-92. It's a 500 channel Multi-System Trunking Radio. Paid less that $200.00
