Folks:
My father was a USN radio operator in the Pacific during the Korean Conflict on various ships, one of which was the USS Mt. McKinley.
If anyone out there served with James McDonald, born in West Virginia, I'd enjoy hearing some of the exploits from the days in the Far East, Hawaii and Alaska.
He died several years ago and as my young son gets more interested in radio, I'd like to be able to tell him more about the grandfather he never met and explain #his radio "heritage".
