Roanoke Valley Amateur Radio Club will activate Christmas Tree Island on Smith Mountain Lake in Franklin/Bedford County in Virginia this weekend. Look for us on 80m around 3.860 mHz, 40m around 7.270 mHz, and 20m around 14.270 mHz. Expect heavy traffic, as new islands don't just pop up every day. Real estate... # they don't make it any more!
