As you may be awar the WWII Army Rangers Reunion is being held in Ft. Wayne, In. today thru Sat. 8/26/04 - 8/28/04. Our Radio Club has been asked short notice to set up a Special Event Station on Friday 8/27/04 from 4P.M. - 6P.M. EST so that they can make contact with military or Amateur Veteran's. ESPC: Ex Ranger's or Special Forces.
Please Join us for this event on IRLP node 8380 or 9205
Echolink Node: 16686, and on HF at 14260 - 14.290MHZ calling CQ Army Ranger Reunion. We will also try the middle of the 40mtr General freq's.
There are several Generals from the Rangers here that will be standing by the radio's for QSO's. This event will serve as an excellent Public Relation event for Amateur Radio.
