View Full Version : LAURA BUSH ON O'REILLY

....I'd do what it takes to make her my wife. Laura Bush has been a guest on the O'Reilly Factor this evening. She has such a gentle, decent presence about herself, and she is very articulate. When asked about Teresa H. Kerry, you'd think Mrs. Bush was talking about a sister. She reminds me of another magnificent First Lady who brought dignity and polish to the White House.

Great first lady? No she is the nothing first lady. What is her first lady cause?
hmmmm, oh yeah, education. Boy she has really done a lot for that.
You may be right, she may be decent and kind (for the cameras anyway)but I think she is to uninvolved to be called even an average first lady - get real!

After eight years of the Billary mess, one would think that the "nothing" first lady is what we're ready for.
Until Hillary, I'd never thought of the first lady as having a "job" in the White House other than being the president's wife and maintaining herself and her actions in a dignified manner.
Hillary of course changed all that. Now I am even MORE convinced that the first lady should do exactly what Laura Bush is doing. Being a supportive wife and a classy one at that.
Didn't folks complain about Nancy Reagan being TOO involved? "Uninvolved" works for me.

You need to cut JSR and KRP some slack concerning their age. They're not THAT old, but I'll bet that they can remember the days of wooden sailing vessels and maybe the invention of the automobile.

One of these days I'm gonna have to post my pictures of me operating my coal burning linear. I made the upgrade from woodburning and that allowed it to sustain an extra 150 pound head of steam. In more conventional terms, that gave me another 200 watts output.
