It was funny, I thought I left my HT on downstairs when i heard the CW announcement of a repeater. It turns out I left my TV on and it was Jerry Springer.

I'd thought i'd share that i thought that was funny.

http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif ( lol ) I figure it is possibly one of two things:

1) either your local repeater operators are getting " bleeped " a lot like folks that used to be on Jerry Springer...!

or

2) Jerry Springer has cleaned up his show ( after 12 - 15 years ) to meet the minimum standards of YOUR local repeater !!

or if some one is using the "bleeps " to simulate C W, they may only be sending 3 - 4 words per minute, and they are very, very short words --- like the words a, it, is, am, are, me, my, you, to, two, too ...and other real short words. Nothing long like extravagandza or supercalifragilisticespalidocious.

We all need to be REAL POLITE here in this forum, MILLIONS of folks hourly are reading YOUR words, and most of them are not as lucky as we are to have an AMATEUR radio license...and they get their OPINIONS of us by what they read...so let us all be real nice here and save the " cuss fights " for " over the air "
..plus that gives the " 0 -- 0 " folks something to do, and listen for !!

ahhh, Jerry Springer. I am SO GLAD he is in Chicago!

I mean, who else could move to Cincinnati from NYC, write a check to a hooker in Kentucky, be a mayor, a news anchor, and now have his own talk show??

There is hope for Bill Clinton.

After hearing some of the interviews he has done lately hyping his new book, I don't think there is much hope, except he will crawl back under his rock some place and obviously, if somebody will pay him the amount of money to speak and write a book that he has gotten, there is NO chance of that either.

Since it is no longer politically correct to say you hate anything, I guess I’ll just say I strongly dislike or perhaps detest the Jerry Springer show. I think all of the so called daytime ‘talk shows’ should be canceled and be replaced with better programming.

I’m not sure what, but there must be something better than watching stupid, fat/skinny, loud, nasty, foul mouthed people smacking each other with chairs and proving they never learned a darn thing in school.

I remember hearing that Larry King was going to have Charlton Hesston on and they were going to be discussing gun control and the NRA. I stayed up to see it and all Larry did was ask the same question with slightly different words and then cut mister Hesston off or try to redirect the topic when he wasn’t giving him the answer he wanted.

I had never actually seen the program before that, but had heard an awful lot of good stuff about it all. I was unimpressed. I also don’t like Howard Stern, Rush Limbaugh, or really and of those radio ‘talk show’ people.

I dont plan on watching Jerry Springer, but if I am channel surfing and I come across it, i'll watch it. I think the reason I watch it is just because how rediculous it is and the people they put on there. Thats if theres nothing else on TV. lol.

If you ever get to feeling like you are the most miserable person in the world, the Springer show will let you know you're not. You can legitimately feel superior to everyone on the show, including the moderator. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
