Have any of you read this book? I have read through most of it and found it interesting, especially the early QSLs from the 20s and 30s. His first card was dated 1928.
Those early cards made reference to what equipment the ham had built, not purchased (there weren't many choices for store bought in those days, the author noted). Things like their "2 stage audio" or "hartley and tuned plate with 2000V on the plate", etc.
I am envious for what it must have been like in those early days!
