From the Sunday Times in London :

"If President Bush is alarmed by his declining poll numbers, he should see Tony Blair's. #46 Percent say Blair should step down. #In the same poll 61 percent said they no longer trust Blair; 31 percent said they did."

"Blair's troubles can be summed up in two words: Iraq and Bush. #The war and the American president are both immensely unpopular in Britain, and Blair is closely identified with both."

No I don't like the way the USA is being run. # #It is time for him to go. #With all due respect maybe you just can't think on your own so maybe you don't deserve to live in a democracy. #Maybe you should go.

The point is that Britain is our most important and loyal partner in the world. #They are very similar to us in their thinking and their values. They don't respect and trust Bush, maybe we should think about why that is.

That's the beauty of our system... people can be voted out.

Sometimes leaders who do the right things, even if it not popular, get voted out because of it. So be it.

I assume that those who want Bush out because of the Iraq war are going to vote for Nader as it would not make sense to vote for Kerry as he not only wants to continue the campaign but pour in more troops. (a bit like Johnson.... 'I am not going to send American boys to fight an Asian war' except that Kerry is very up fron about it... to his credit I may add.

However sometimes leaders who did the popular thing also get voted out. (Neville Chamberlain...."we will have peace in our time")

I hope Scott Towel is working some over time there is going to be a big rush on towels to wipe the EGG off the face of all the leftist's when GW and Tony Blair are proven to have been right all along. It will be a dark day for Socialism but unfortunately it will survive, being nursed to health by the uninformed.
The nose of the bulldog has been slanted backwards so that he can breathe without letting go.

We don't live in a democracy. We live in a representative republic. Mob rule is a bad thing™.

If you don't like how the USA is being run, git/scram/ vamoose. Unquote. That's what Hitler said to his people, if you don't like the way I am running Germany, git going. What mentality dictates that you as an American can't speak out? I think your thinking is much like Adolph's.I as an American can criticize someone like Bush until the cows come home. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

I was watching PBS last night and saw a special about President Bush and his religious beliefs. I had seen promos for the show which was billed as a "non-judgemental" look at the subject. Right.

The format of the show was to discuss Bush's religious beliefs in segments followed by a segment tearing it down or questioning his motives. It was one of the MOST judgemental pieces of journalism I have ever seen.

Now, I am not a big Bush fan these days for many reasons. But PBS lied to viewers. I tuned in to learn something about the man who is our President just as I would like to know more about John Kerry sans all the spin. If you have the chance to see this program, don't. Its a PBS sham.
