Not confirmed, but if these are some of the guilty party, get a tribunal started now! If guilty... Well use your imagination.

Debkas Credability and reliability ranks right up there with K1MAN.

I'll wait for some more reliable sources. They were reporting the entire 82nd airborne deep inside Afganistan when I was at Ft. Bragg right in the middle of them.

In the same story they reported that the 101st Airborne had also done a combat jump into Afganistan. Except the 101 hasn't made a jump of any sort in 30 years and is soley airmobile now, and does not have the capability to make such a jump. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

Nothing is being said in Newsmax as of yet... They did said nothing was confirmed so maybe they're getting a little better.

If the young Berg would have stayed out of this war zone and behaved like he should have, he would be with us today. What is wrong with civilians who enter a war zone and knowing the dangers? It was an unnessary death and should be a red flag for others who are thinking about going over there.

Simple reason. #Money

I know several people who's jobs were eliminated that needed work. #They are in Iraq rebuilding systems and utilities.

They do not like being over there, however, they have met some decent people who are very grateful for the services they are providing. #(One restoring electric, the other telco)

They are getting paid very well for their skills -- much more that their previous job; much much more than any part time work they would have been able to find.

They had a choise -- take part time work locally and risk losing their home or take a chance, take a contract in Iraq and and pay off their home.

Both have one thing in common (besides their jobs being eliminated) -- if their jobs were still available in the US they would be there. #(They would rather be home)

Guess high price lumber and troops aren't the only thing we're exporting to Iraq

I have a friend who turned down a job in Iraq at $10K/month, for 3 months. Think I should go. Glen can be my bodyguard.

PEP

Debka and now Fox News is reporting the same news of the arrests.

Debka is not completely off-base... Give them a little more credit than that.

Yup, trying to make a living by going over there to rebuild. #What a behavior problem he has.

You are correct in that the situation over there should be of great concern to those considering going over there for temporary work, but who do you recommend to do the rebuilding?

Call yourself an American? It is no longer a war zone according to your president Bush! Many civilians work in Iraq and only because it is not a designated war zone.
What wrong did Nick do apart from believe his President?

I bet you would not say the same if it was your brother or son.

Muslims are scum, all they do is kill and war! They can not even leave there own people alone. Do you think they like you? They use you and laugh at you. Terrorist the lot of them and all they are good for is nothing.
NUKE the lot and put an end to it!!! You did it to the Japs aand they did far less!!

F-CK the lot of them.

Yeah, but I can't say that I disagree with everything he says.
