last january I bought from that "shame ham" N5WYN,
an Alinco dx70 and an Icom PS15, we closed for 370 USD plus an Astron RS35 that I could not use from here since it works only with 115 v., I sent him money and he got it, he got the Astron too, but he never sent me the items i bought. He claimed once he sent the parcel on january, 28th but I never got anything. And later on he does not reply to my e-mails (hundreds) and no way to catch him via phone number. Isn't a shame to be dishonest for a so little amount? Now I hope he will spend hundred time more cash with medicines for his health...

I'm sorry that you have had this difficulty with another ham. I have a question: Did he provide you with any copies of "Proof of Mailing" from the U.S.A. Post Office? If he "really" mailed anything to you then he would have had copies of customs documents and similar. You said he
DID get your money. Do you have a copy of a cancelled check or a receipt for a Money Order? It might help to post that evidence here for all to see. 73, and best of luck getting your hard earned money back. WA3TJO

Hi Len,

I asked him that shipment receipt number as soon he claimed that, but since that moment he disappeared....,
I sent him money via Moneygram, and he got his cash because he wrote me the exact amount (a bit more), because of the EURO/USD exchange rate.

Sorry didnt get back to , had to go out of town just got back to day wont be
here long thought got a big job down in Elpaso,Tx putting up Cell towers

Just knew the thief N5WYN also ripped a SP4 (polish) ham too, he stole him 150 USD.
What a shame!!
