K1NRA is honest! Here is His posting on QRZ Swapmeet April 24 2004,10:55
"I have a Yaesu VX-7R (silver) ht for sale. It comes with the original box and all accessories. Excellent condition no scratches or blemishes on the surface. Asking $225 shipped for this HT.
Please E-mail cal757driver@earthlink.net if you are interested."
I got this radio and apon opening the package the Manual and the original antenna was missing I contacted K1NRA and he said if he found the manual he would mail it.I got one from HRO in atlanta for $15 bucks no problem. But the antenna is the problem because it is a three peice antenna for 6m,220,440,2m Ive sent an e-mail he responded says he going to have a look for it?HRO said they do not stock the stock antennas for the yaesu vx 7r and I need to order it from yaesu. The VX7R radio new is #$305 I paid $240 which included shipping COD, I put out $15 for a manual and now another $45 if I have to order the antenna.Do the math here?Is this guy a honest ham? http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif #http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif #Other than that the radio works #fine:(

What did K1NRA say when you told him that the original antenna was missing ?
If he said that it came with all accessories, but the antenna was missing, then I think that he would either produce the antenna for you or pay for the new one.
