A noble sentiment, and one which I am very happy to join. Though today, as I write this, is a "holiday" fraught with sorrow, Sunday promises new life in every dimension.

The adults see & know what really went on, but the children only know of the eggs hunts, gifts of baby rabbits & chickens ( most of which soon die an awful death ) .

I wish everyone a wonderful, peaceful easter. And while you all are in church, please pray for our troops that they will be safe and be reunited with their families real soon.

Happy Easter to all, and lets not forget what the holiday is about, lets not forget the sacrifice made for us.

I have my problems with organized religion. Books written 2000 + years ago, translated by people that perhaps didn’t really know the original language, hundreds of years later are left with a lot of popular interpretations. Not to mention the fossil record.

Yet it’s handy to have an omnipotent god around to blame things on. “The Lord works in mysterious ways”. To me church is just another expensive club to go to. But like BS&T said in their popular tune “I swear there ain’t no heaven and pray there ain’t no hell.”

I enjoy the religious holidays and celebrate them as a Christian even if I really ain’t ’born again’
I wish you and yours a Very Happy Easter anyway if you can believe it from a non committed person as me.

To everyone, know-no-coders and CBers alike, have a very happy Easter Sunday, I hope each of you is enjoying it with family and friends, as am I, and I would lovingly admonish all to remember what today really represents and take cheer in the hope of tomorrow.

I will return to more acerbic themes after my current saintliness wears off.

Do not forget to write your anti-BPL letters,
encourage new amateur radio participation and generally be nice
to one another. That is all.
