Does anyone remember the Laurel and Hardy short where they install a radio antenna on the roof?
A must see for all hams.

I've never seen that one, but it probably resembles some of my efforts.
Those guys were great entertainment!
Sounds like a good safety training video for a club meeting http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
You can show that as a double feature with Larry, Moe and Curley as Chicken Banders attempting to install a 70 keelo-whut mobyle!

I can see it now, club meeting called to order we are showing a saftey video on improper antenna installation, the light s go out everyone is eating pop corn and drinking soda pop, yep only the 3 stooges would show something of that nature, I wish I had seen the flick.
I wonder if that will be at the local mom and pop video store !

Almost as good is the "Three Stooges" short " A Plumbing We Will Go" in 1940, where the 3 get the electrical and water system crossed up. Favorite quote, Curly says, " Hey, their's wires in these pipes! " in his best Brooklineze accent !
Water comes pouring out of a TV set that has a picture of Niagra Falls on the screen just moments before! What a HOOT !

http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif ...i wonder if the BIG 4 ( including FOX ) would consider running the old " 3 stooges " ( or Laurel & Hardy ) shows next fall instead of some of their usual network programming...might actually INCREASE the networks ratings over " 5 millionaire " or " survivor 4 " or " duh - line september 22, 2004 " or " 45 and a half minutes " ( not including commercials ) ...no need to COLORIZE the old stuff, that is what makes it great is the black & white versions ...is any one reading this at abc/nbc/cbs/fox/upn or any where else ?? ...after all it is a new generation watching tv now, might actually increase ratings ( never know till you try ) !!---kd4amg---
Do not forget to write your anti-BPL letters,
encourage new amateur radio participation and generally be nice
to one another. That is all.
