View Full Version : sMARTY LIVES
I was 'clued' into this by another stalwart member of our QRZ.COM family.
For those who wonder what's become of our lovable 'under the bridge' trolls from six land, they're living on 'the other system'.
Here's a link to one of sMARTY's latest trollings. It's a hoot, but I warn you..you have to wade through about 30 or so responses that want to take him seriously and have not YET learned how to deal with the potstirring.
But when you get near the end... it gets rather funny..

Like i said before if you are going to put a post in here about him let him come back here to qrz so he can have his say.

FT wants to take his place under the troll bridge.
Now you know sMarty is a dedicated troll.... One must send money into eham before one can post there....
I have better things to spend my money on but I have to admit, reading that trash sure is entertaining....

Apologies to QRZ ( for the 'ad' about elsewhere ) and Eham ( for any potential loss of revenue ):
You do not have to pay to post on Eham.

p.s. I think my feelings about the guy who accused my country of war crimes after WW2 are well known.
Well gee wiz,
I registered at eham and when I went to post it said I had to "subscribe" before I could post... The fee (donation) to subscribe started at $15 and went up from there... What gives??

I can't say I know anything about sMarty or anyone else of that sort. But hey, I read the post, so the poster has a right to an opinion the same as anyone else.
I have say that there are some rather unusual responses there. Including one who seems to be looking forward to the General "upgrade". http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

When the subscribe screen comes up, just hit reload on your browser. It should take you to the next page. Of course you can donate if you like but not nec. to post.
(standard disclaimer: i have no affiliation with the "other" site...etc, etc..)

You just gave your money away. Thats what gives
Awww, gee folks, come on!
Doncha know that once many of us figured out what sMarty's game was that it became a HOOT to watch him twist and turn on his words as more and more people 'got wise' to him and began to turn the tables on him? It made him crazier!
And the crazier he got about trying to 'reassert some control' over those who have figured itout.. the more humorous it got!
Why, I actually ENJOYED reading sMartys posts! Why?
becuase he made it possible for me to laugh!
That is GOOD! (why?) becuase laughter releases endorphins and endorphins are good for the heart, the mind, and the body!
So sMartywas doing many of us a GREAT service by helping keep us healthy and THAT was/is quite a public service that he provided.
So I was actually trying to provide others the same chance to expereince an endorphin rush and a blast of healthy living.

I have never sent any money to eHam and I definitely post over there once-in-a-while (not often, since I have enough to do over on this site!).

Yes, you do have to subscribe at eham to post. Just like
you have to subscribe here. You do not have to donate to
eham, just as you don't have to here. But it is probably a
good idea to donate if you are going to use the facilities.
There is no such thing as a free lunch. Somebody has to pay.

PS. eham is a bit more agressive about asking for financial
assistance, though.

Hi, Glen! I think we may have "doubled on that last posting.
I had a Varsity Chili Steak, Chili Dog, some Onion Rings and
a Big Orange. The world is a much nicer place to be in, now!

JSR:
Don't know if we will get to the Altanta area before late July or early August. That is when my youngest daughter's first baby is due. My wife and I will definitely make it to the new The Varsity in Alpharetta since that is about 15 minutes from my daughter's house in Cherokee County (Canton address but about 10 miles from Canton). Don't know about the "main" one on North Avenue.
But, you keep getting me to "crave" two or three "chili-steaks", order of fries, order of onion rings, a large "Coke", and a fried apple pie or two!

your monitor. When you awaken, you'll not remember
this post, but you will be hungry! <SNAP!>

FT:
A chili-steak is a hamburger with chili on it. But, The Varsity does have some pretty good chili-dogs if that is what you prefer! I got "addicted" to The Varsity chili-steaks in September of 1962, my first quarter at Georgia Tech (the school was on the "quarter" system back then and not the semester system). Then, there are their apple fried pies, but they also have peach fried pies as well (my late mother-in-law lived to be almost 97 and she ate the peach fried pies whenever someone would get her some and my wife's aunt just died short of her 101st birthday and Aunt Ruthie ate the peach fried pies as well!). My wife and I prefer the apple.

Onion Rings! French Fries!
This is not a post from K4JSR, this is your appetite speaking.
And this goes for you to, Chuck!

Holy smokes, he's still around?!?!
He was a different kind of fella and one that isn't missed at all from certain viewpoints. As FT has said, EE did provide a good laugh or two.
