Martha found guilty on all counts. A juror gave a brilliant summation as to their thoughts and actions while weighing evidence.

Now let's get some more weasels such as Ebbers, Limbaugh, and...

OK. This is a good thing.

What will be great is when the %^$%#*@! from Worldcom and Enron get the same treatment

Our buddy Berney Ebbers and his team is directly responsible for putting alot of hard working people on the street.

I would agree with giving Martha a suspended sentance if some of these folks could do 10 or 20 years in state A#$ pounding prison.

Take my soap box away.................

Once again folks are making assumptions...

Stewart was NOT found guilty of insider trading...
Stewart was found guilty of conspiracy, making false statements and obstruction of justice.

The insider trading charges were dropped...

Each count is worth 5 years MAX...

Even at that, as a first time offender she'll probably get a suspended sentence...

The really cool irony of all of this is that the Imclone stock that precipitated this is now skyrocketing because the drug works after all.

So here they were, looking to save their shirts when in reality it was chump change to these very wealthy folks. It turns out that had these greedy buggers sat tight, they would have made a whole 'lotta money.

Now that is simply justice.

Yes it is! You can't even make up stuff this good.

Martha! Martha! Martha!

You took the tip, acted on it, then tried to hide it.

What did you stand to save? #A few hundred thousand?

Now look what it has cost you! #Your reputation, your business, and likely your entire empire.

You've got far more in legal bills than you could ever have hoped to save by acting on an illegal stock tip.

You're going to be humiliated by having to go to prison, even if its one of those cushy country club type prisons.

Poor Martha!

Now stop to think what this is costing your investors. #Those who have invested in your good name stand to lose over a BILLION.....A BBBBBILLION dollars because of your greed.

Will you grieve for them while you're lounging by the pool?

God help you!

Not going to comment on Martha, but there is a most interesting book on inside trading called "Inside Out". Check it.

It is hard to feel sorry for Martha, when you consider the fact, that she was, at one time, a STOCK BROKER. She should have known better. This appears to have been a case of the truth would have set her free.

Time to move on to the investigation of how Democrat Party Chairman Terry Mcculliff turned a one hundred thousand dollar investment into an eighteen million dollar profit in Global Crossing. #The investors who lost thousands when this company went under deserve an answer.

Right. #And that's what really gets me fuming about all this. #She'll no doubt be allowed visitors, with no strip search afterward. #After a number of these "visits" have occured, the other women are going to start noticing Marhta's ever more festively decorated cell. #They will talk about her behind her back and pass notes about her through the cell bars. #They will eventually catch her with her cache of artsy-fartsy crafts and decorating supplies. #They will grow more agitated when they see that she has construction paper, pretty sparkly things, Elmer's glue, pipe cleaners, paints, clay, a kiln, a fussy work bench and cabinets, etc. -- all smuggled in via bodily orifices and cavities. #There will be a prison uprising far surpassing anything ever seen in the history of women's correctional facilities. #The female inmates will throw flaming tampons into Martha's cell to destroy her oh-so-pretty and tastefully adorned cell. #The entire prison will go up in a blaze. #Only Martha will survive. #Hair slightly singed, and in her eyes as usual. #She will have coated her cell with smuggled, combination fire retardant paint/cupcake frosting.

Martha is history.

She tried to get over, tried to do a "Bill Clinton" by stating she didn't know anything about this and did not do the deed and got caught. (Only difference is that sex was not part of the lie)

$50,000 savings = prison time. #(Stupid move for someone so wealthy) #Time to move on.

What about the high profile cases (World Com) where the greedy bastards pulled their stunts and cause 10,000 of people to loose their jobs because they got caught cooking the books.

How about this -- get them into the court system, try them and "if convicted" sell their assets and reimburse the honest folks who's jobs were impacted by their dishonesty.

The Martha show was just easy television advertisement. #However, these trials will be the Superbowl! #

Common Berney Ebbers -- our friend Bubba is waiting to introduce you to the prison social (and shower) scene.

Who said Limbaugh had to be considered an inside trader or corporate crook to be a weasel?

Do not forget to write your anti-BPL letters,
encourage new amateur radio participation and generally be nice
to one another. That is all.
