Read this for latest BPL propaganda.

http://online.wsj.com/article....00.html (http://online.wsj.com/article_email/0,,SB107818096041143377-IZjgYNjlaN3npunZnqGbKeAm4,00.html)

Notice NO MENTION of any "INTERFERENCE" to RADIO communications by BPL in the article.

I just cancelled my subscription to the WSJ.

Is it possible they found a way to deploy BPL without causing harmful interference?

Lot of stink was made about XLM radio interfering with Mobile Phone communications -- did not happen.

Anyone have the scoop?

The very first paragraph of that article is false. There IS a third choice! As DirecWay puts it, " If you have a clear view of the southern sky . . . . " I LOVE my 2 way DirectWay Satellite service, and can blow cable modems out of the water with my data transfer rates!

Wall Street Journal is way off the track on that article for many reasons. Of course, I don't believe that they claim to be an un-biased, balanced newspaper at all, do they ? ? ?

AG3Y,

Jim Funny you should mention Direcway. Ive done some research on it and am ordering it (Like I have other options in this town). What probs if any have you had, OH, and what about the dreaded FAP? I have heard it described as a bucket, hose and the big monty python foot of justice.

You can PM me if you want. Sorry if y'all think I hijacked this thread.

WoW easy to see who is kissing up to the WSJ. I gave up on the rag years ago. It was always too biased for me.

I don't think I've ever heard of any newspaper being balanced and un-biased.

BPL will probably get implemented slowly across the country. They'll sneak it in where they can right under our own noses. #http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif
