View Full Version : Go away, Howard Dean!

I heard this utterly ridiculous commercial on the radio last night. It was this whiny, lispy voice imploring voters to go to the polls (it's election day here in MD) and vote for (brace yourself) HOWARD DEAN.

Yeah, as if ANYONE voted for him while he was still in the race.

Then a second whiny, lispy voice appeared and asked how that will get George Bush out of office. The first "man" then babbled something about sending a message about wanting progressive candidates.

Hee-larious.

Meanwhile, Ralphie Nader is back in the race. Hooray! Another candidate that can't POSSIBLY win, but if you vote for him, you'll send this big, powerful "message." HAW!!! Seems to me the only message I'm getting is that the Dummycrats are as clueless and out of touch as ever.

And I love it.

I may not be the world's biggest GW Bush fan, not by a longshot, but I'll take him over ANYONE the Democraps have served up so far. Nice to see that the Demolition-crats are still doing everything they can do to lose the election - again.

Out.

I SHOULD run. I'd be on the National Surrealist Light People's Party (not affiliated with the National Surrealist Light People's Broadcasting Corporation) ticket.

My platform -- Statehood for Israel, along with everything else in "the Successful Jewish Agenda."

Right, Potato Boy?

I'll just comb my hair over my HORNS.

We have one state too many now. We don't need a 52nd state.

Oh, you ask? Where is our 51st state?

South of El Paso.

51st State -- isn't that the State of Confusion.

Whoops -- let's leave Washington DC in an election year out of this conversation http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I'm gonna be honest with ya, while i'm not old enough to vote, my dad is, and I went to the polls with him this morning (GA). Why vote republican when Bush is the only guy on the ballot?

Instead, many folks are voting democratic... mostly for Howard Dean.

John Kerry is currently leading all of the other democrats by a wide margin, with Howard Dean following in 2nd place. My goal would be to do everything in my power to keep Kerry from being elected the democratic winner. Had I voted, I would have voted for Howard Dean as well, since this would #1 take away a vote from Kerry, and #2 if Dean were to make it (although unlikely), I don't think he could stand up to GW Bush. If Kerry makes it, which is most likely, he would stand a much better chance of beating Bush.

Uhh... just thinking about putting a democrat in office gives me chills.

EVER WONDER WHY A DONKEY WAS CHOSEN AS THE DEMOCRAT EMBLEM!?!?

Democrat in office? Hmmm ...

Well, actually Edwards has one thing for sure going for him -- against NAFTA!! If I coulda voted in the Dem caucus here I would have voted for him. He is not as extreme liberal as Kerry.

Way I see it, with Dean taking Vermont, and maybe Edwards taking Georgia, and maybe Nader taking Ohio?? and the good Reverend taking Detroit? It all spells Bush in 2004.

So -- vote Dean! Vote Edwards! (Would if I could) Vote Sharpton! Vote Nader!

I think I'll write in McCain. Or maybe myself.

If you would put a kosher deli within walking distance of every home in the country, I could get behind your campaign.

Just out of curiosity who would be your running mate?

Tony K8EEI --- The picture in your QRZ profile is fantastic!! Everybody go look at it right now, then come back. I'll just wait here. Dum dee dum dum... dum da deeee dum... You back now? Good. I love the guy at the huge vintage radio console with his XYL bringing him a BEER. Awesome.

Actually, Art Modell has many admirers here. After all, he brought us a rag tag Browns team that was rebuilt into a Super Bowl winner. Bob Irsay, he ain't. I don't feel the least bit bad for Cleveland -- They kept the team name, history, colors, and tradition... AND got a brand spanky new team. What's not to like?

KG4WRA, I'm with you, big guy. Only thing is in a MD primary election, you can vote ONLY for the party you are registered for. So, as a registered Repulican, I don't have the option of voting for any Dummycratic candidiates. Otherwise, SURE, we'd all vote for someone who would lose. Haw!

OM KM5FL --- I thought Israel was already our 51st.... Isn't it CALLED "the STATE of Israel?" Nah, that'll never happen. What kind of football team could they POSSIBLY have?? After all, how many JEWS are there in the NFL?

Gary KLT.... Yes, a deli on every corner. And a Constitutional amendment banning corned beef on WHITE BREAD with MAYONNAISE!! (Belongs on RYE with MUSTARD, for the benefit of those of you out in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.) My running mate? Shecky Green! I would appoint KC7JTY Ambassador to Israel. Haw!! K3FT would be my Secretary of State. sMarty would be appointed FCC Commissioner.

Gentlemen, this briefing is over.

Senator John F(lipflop) Kerry has the Democratic nomination after Super Tuesday.

I think that the Presidential Race will be close but I believe (like it or not) that Doubya will be in for another #four years. Right now as it stands he has a 50% approval rating but they keep making mistakes like the President's military record which should have been quashed long before this.

I would not worry about Howard Dean. As I have stated before, he dug himself into a hole and only thing left to do is kick in the dirt.

And then there is Ol' Ralph. I want him to run. I hope he steals enough votes from
J(ane) F(onda) Kerry to let the President win big. Hang in there Ralphie! #http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Jane Fonda Kerry! HAW!!!!!!!

Kerry became a HUGE anti-war activist after he got back from 'Nam. Why doesn't he APPLAUD Bush for not going over there? It's hypocrisy of that type I just don't understand.

So Edwards bit the dust too... In a way, too bad. He was perhaps the least offensive of the whole Dummycrat lineup.

Chuck,

I have some questions concerning this:

If they win, will the new VP be passing out any cigars? #

Would Bill's first job as VP be finding out what the definition of "is" is?

Will he take Monica, Jennifer, or Hillary to the inaugural ball?

Just curious.

I don't know about Bill, but if the Dems put Hillary on that ticket it just might hurt the Conservative ticket.

She would absolutely pull the womens vote, she would be a strong pull in the south, and her work with education just might pull a very strong vote from the Black Community...

I wonder if it would work... Hmmmmm....

Do not forget to write your anti-BPL letters,
encourage new amateur radio participation and generally be nice
to one another. That is all.
