This gives new meaning to the phrase "Antenna Farm" http://www.haarp.alaska.edu/ There is a nice article as well in the January issue of CQ magazine on HAARP, writen by WB6NOA. HAARP is short for High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program, interesting stuff for sure. I guess they don't have any CCR's where they are huh? http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I hear that they have a test program, don't know when. But if you send them a signal report, they will send you a qsl card.

Occasionally they have tests and they do ask for RSTs. They send a series of numbers at several power levels. The numbers copied confirm the power level. But, if the hype is to be believed, most hams can't participate--because they use CW, not voice or data.
