Bring on Stone Cold Steve Austin, he could be the law here on QRZ. Im not saying anything about Glenn, he dose a good job. He lets you say what you want and will step in when he has to. We all could pay Austin to drive arould looking for bad ham ops. He then would warn them, if they dont see eye to eye him he then would give them a stone cold stunner. The 2nd time. He would come to you jump on you and beat the crap out of you, break all of you ham stuff and then flip you off as he is walking out. I dont think there would be a 3rd time.

He could start with the ones who think they are better then the others. So what do you think about it. Should we call Stone cold.

We can have Vince McMahon be the 'Commissioner', his daughter can be the 'ring card girl', and K1MAN can handle the ringside annoucements on 14247!

..No he would just make it LOOK like he was beating the crap out of you, after all, we know they're all ACTORS, not ATHLETES! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Well after seeing Stone Cold on Nash Bridges as a recurring character, I would argue about his being an actor as well.

I thought that the Top Gunny is R. Lee Ermey of "Mail Call"
on the History channel. He could straighten out all of the
"grabasstic civilian snotball maggots" out there!
R. Lee Ermey is a retired USMC Drill Instructor and Viet Nam
veteran.

lord have mercy,

Just in case that last comment was serious, which I really can't believe, Stone Cold Austin is a current pro wrestler, Verne Gagne and Mad Dog howeveryouspellhisname were old time pro wrestlers before all the masks and makeup and crap. Nash Bridges was a 90's cop show with Don Johnson as Nash Bridges. I never was really sure if the show was a cop show that was funny or a sit-com with some strong cop story lines. With Cheech Marin as the co-star it was real hard to tell sometimes esp with some of their odd ball story lines.

And Stone Cold Austin couldn't act any better on the show then he did in the ring.

NEVER mess with a marine, especially a marine DI, no matter how may years they have been retired! Once one, always one, and you won't like the fallout at all.

As to the wrestling, feel free to challenge one of them. Sure, it's choreographed, but it IS real. If you don't know the program, you'll be in the hospital, as several have found out.
Trained stuntmen, basically.. Great entertainment. But they are BIG guys who push weights, well, big for the most part, but the balance carries.

Don't believe me, go ahead and make a challenge, then report back http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

When I saw the topic "Stone Cold" I was thinking "How the heck is ice cream having anything to do withe ham radio. As usual I was off base, since "Cold Stone" is the name of the ice cream place.

This is Will's other half, & I'm the wrestling fan of the house.

Granted, I haven't watched in about a month or so, but last I heard/knew, the only members of the Hart family who have passed on are Owen and Davey Boy Smith (who was at one point married to one of the Hart sisters). For the most recent information, though, you might try going to http://www.wwe.com . They would have any new information that I don't. 73.

QQL,
Don't feel bad ,I have never heard of any of these people except Don Johnson and I never did care for his crappy attitude. At first I thought these were all cartoon characters brought on board with the GIMMI-TEC's or some thing out of the Internet. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

What was the name of the guy who got killed doing the ring entry gimmick down in KC I think it was. I don't follow wrestling but we got a lot a publicity about it being only about 200 miles away. I was thinking that was a Hart. As I remember the stunt was to be lowered down from the high rafters of whereever they were at on a cable and something went wrong and this guy fell quite a few feet to his death.
