I would appreciate some help-if someone could walk me through to
program my radio. I am a senior citizen and I can not understand the book. I need help to erase what already have in my radio and to be able to start anew with your help
I need to know how to put the frequency into memory with the pl and also to put in alphanumeric with that frequency.

Full reset - Press and hold left V/M + power on. Turn right freq. dial to all reset - press set.
Memory - set your freq. then go into menu #41 to enc - menu # 40 to tone # - press set. Press set 2 sec.- turn main knob to memory # - press set again. That puts that freq. into memory. Hope that helps. Larry...... http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Lou maybe it would be easier for you to get some programming software and a cable and do it through your computer.
