http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif I am spared both problems on the LEFT coast but we have our own special bunch of 75m CBers out here.
And they know who they are. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Here in FL, I had S9 of k1man, the jammer, the AM net, and I can also hear the 75m "CBers", AND the illegal truckers on 10 real good too! ...And that's with a RS DX394 connected to my old A-99... http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif I'm kinda scared of how it'll be once I string up a real HF antenna! RF gain DOWN! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

K1MAN is exploiting a loophole in the regulations and at least technically (sort of) is operating legally. I understand some of your angst but I have to admit I occasionally listen to his program on 3890. The jammer is wrong. While K1MAN is perceived as a nuisance, the jamming station is downright illegal. I would welcome K1MAN to continue on 3890 but to shorten the length of his transmissions so other AM stations might use the frequency. I also have noticed that Mr. Baxter seems to have a healthy dislike for the FCC and it's enforcement bureau. I wish he would tone that down as well. It does the rest of us no good to have a ham openly defying and fostering such ill will with the very organization that permits us to exist. Perhaps he will take the ham communities wishes into account since he claims to serve amateur radio. Anyway, you can always QSY.
K1MAN will find... that once the tolerance level of the FCC enforcement branch is exceeded.. that he will have jumped on the back of a bronco he'd rather not ride.
He THINKS he's 'winning' and for a time he is.. but eventually (sadly later than sooner) he's gonna find out things are not as nice as he thinks they are.
The QRM level will increase.. the complaints will increase... and finally he'll obtain the full attention he richly deserves.
It's not nice to poke the bear in the balls too hard.. eventually the bear turns around and 'reminds' you that it's not a good thing.
But MAN.. like the rest.. will discover this for themselves.
What a disgrace to Amateur Radio...

Yup, 3890 AM peaking S-9 here in NE Ohio. Another broadcast of out-dated "amateur radio newsline" programs. Geesh.
