Why people selling their item are not reporting them in their QRZ.com page?
I mean, if you check my page on QRZ.com I have a clear statement that no stuff are for sale on my name/call.
If I would sell something then the sale would be mentioned in my equipment list in parenthesis, so would be clear the fact I'm selling that stuff.
If everybody does it, at least a second check, after the QRZ.com verification to match name/address, could help to realize if it's a scam or not...

Well I think you have a valid point here, here's how it went for me.
I, like a lot of Amateurs, placed a wanted ad here, got a reply some time later.
Near the end of arranging to buy this "want" I noticed the "seller" had nothing on his QRZ page
that would "signal" a problem. Then, afterward after I got "dooped" for my money, only then did the seller
post that he didnot have this item. Was he the "dooper"? I don't know. AQll I do know when he was asked re i9t, he DIDNOT
offer any help in regard to it. He simply said, "it looks like you have been scammed". So, is he the "dooper"?
I guess I'll never know.
