The Grand Rapids, Michigan Hamfestival (the largest in western Michigan) is being held on Saturday, June 1, 2002. For more information look on www.w8hvg.org. There will be VE tests and talks and demonstrations on "Alternative Energy Concepts" involving solar, wind and generators that are of interest to hams. Plus, there will be a quarterly meeting of the Michigan area Repeater Council. The evening before, there will be the famous "Roadkill Chili Potluck Supper" - y'all come!
