I am sorry to say, but no. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif looks like they dodged some of the really big subjects.(BPL) you would think that broadband would be a subject of intrest to a computer show.

I thought that the interview was well done.
Even though BPL was not mentioned.....
At least this head of the FCC did an interview
with a somewhat outside the normal
arena network show.
My hat is off to Mr Powell for doing a great
job!
I am also thankful to Tech TV for arranging
the interview.
We all would have been happier, I am sure, if
Mr Powell had said BPL will not be allowed to
cause any harmful interference, 11 meter operators
will all be sent to jail if they operate on 10 meters,
etc..........
Bottom line as I see it, There have been much worse
administrations in the past when the FCC did less than
zero to help amateur radio.
We should support the efforts of those who are at least
trying to help out...... # It has been a long time since
an effective FCC enforcement person like Riley has
even paid any attention to the ham bands!
I say thanks!

Dont get me wrong, I agree that he did a good job and I am also thankful that Techtv did the interview. I guess I was expecting to hear something about BPL, because its a hot topic and very much computer related.

73 to all and have a Merry Christmas,

Matthew
