ARRL Field Day, Affiliated Club Competition Changes Okayed

The Arrl needs to get it together and offer more bonus points at Field Day for specialized operations like VHF and UHF and Microwave....Slowscan TV should be encouraged....too much emphasis is placely on CW and SSB contacts.

Hi All,
I think this will cause a decrease in the newer hams having time at the microphone during FD. I can see more of a need to use the digital modes and CW. The old novice/tech position will give way to a computer hooked to a Rig-Blaster.
