FRS/GMRS Radios (“Walkie-Talkies”)
I have (2) Motorola T9550R “Walkie-Talkies” that I bought several years ago. Now that I’ve gotten into ham radio, I don’t need them anymore, so I’m selling them to help fund another radio project. Their “Range” is 25 miles, although here in TN, they don’t even come close to that. 25 miles is under IDEAL conditions. What you get:
• (2) Motorola T9550R Radios – sorry, no belt clips
• Dual drop-in charger with wall adapter
• (2) Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) rechargeable battery packs – they hold a charge so-so…I usually use 3 “AA” batteries instead
• Also comes with (2) Yellow faceplates that can be swapped with the black ones on the radios. These are in good condition too.
These radios show signs of normal use, but have NOT been abused. NO KNOWN issues. These radios are good for convoys, since you don’t have to dial any numbers, just pick it up and start talking. These sell for $90 + tax from a local sporting goods store last time I checked.

I also have (2) Midland LXT322 “Walkie-Talkies” that I bought a while back. Now that I’ve gotten into ham radio, I no longer need them. Their “Range” is 22 miles, although here in TN, they don’t even come close to that. 22 miles is under IDEAL conditions. What you get:
• (2) Midland LXT322 Radios with belt clips
• “Wal-Wart” charger (charges both at same time)
• (2) Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) rechargeable battery packs – one seems to hold a charge so-so, and the other doesn’t hold a charge very well. I usually use 4 “AAA” batteries instead
Theses radios show very few signs of use, are in very good condition, and have NOT been abused. NO KNOWN issues.

I would like to trade all four of these "walkie talkies" for either a Kantronics KPC-3 (+) TNC, or a Yaesu FT-60R, or???
