I try to figure out this. I went to see USS Kid's web, and saw a vessel that surely has 50++ years history behind him. What about USS Hornet?
Will they also be "strong enough" for long Dx? or will it be "saturated" by westerner stations (no offense, it is normal)?

I would be really happy having a qso. Just remembering all the guys that sacrified themselves.

Pierre,

I will post a bulletin in the Ham Shack for the crew to listen for you. We often hear southeast asia. Hopefully you'll make it through.

What VHF frequencies will you be operating on in order to access IRLP? I live up in the Sierra mountains northwest of Yosemite and can hit the San Franciso bay area fairly well on 2m. Would rather just work you direct on one of the repeaters down there as opposed to having to going through IRLP on one of the repeaters up here.
