KC8PLB writes "According to this article (http://www.msnbc.com/news/631254.asp?0dm=B13PT&cp1=1) on MSNBC, "Wireless companies may have trouble getting new licenses" for '3G' devices. This desired spectrum is held by the military-- however, in light of the attacks on 11 Sep, the military most likely will not give up that spectrum. Will the wireless companies now want amateur spectrum after losing out to the military? Are we going to have to lobby against big wireless companies to keep spectrum above 1GHz?"
