Muscle Shoals, Alabama. September 17, 2001 Creative Services Software has announced that they have PKTerm ’99 version 1.5. This latest update supports the hot new digital mode PSK-31 as well as the AGW Packet Engine. It also supports the new PK-232/PSK-31 hardware interface.
The popular TNC program, written in C++, has been available since November 1997.
Company President Rick Ruhl, W4PC said, “All of the features of PkTerm 1.5 except for one are going to be available in the free upgrade policy that CSS has had for the past 5 years. If you don’t have the PK-232/PSK-31 hardware interface, or purchased PkTerm ’99 after May 15, 2001, then the entire update is free. Timewave Technology, manufacture of the PK-232/PSK, is offering a $10.00 coupon on the full version of PkTerm ’99 or the enabling fee for the hardware interface through the end of October. This makes the full version only $69.95 and the PSK-31 hardware upgrade only $19.95.
New enhancements for version 1.5 include:
