I have been giving a lot of radios, all seem to be 800mhz. I am in need of some codeplugs for these radios, Either the original programmers that serviced these radios used a custom model or my rss cant read them. If I can get these radios going for some kind of sale my buddy is just going to scrap the aluminum cases for them.
I have the following models:
M11URD6CB1AN - I Have around 3 of theses. Front says GTX
D45WA5GB7AK - I have about 20 of these. Front says MaxTrac
D45MQA5GB5AK - I have about 10 of these. Front says MaxTrac
D45MQA5GB5AK - I have one of theses, its screen is different saying MaxTrac800
I have some hand held, but those are not as important right now.
The company he works for posted them all on craigs list, after no takes they gave them to him for scrap. He and I would like to see these radios used instead of scrapped. So he has given them to me to see what I can do with them. Now the company had thrown most of the mics and other accessories away. I have blanked on of the gtx and put the handheld code plug in it to play with.
If any one has codeplugs or other ways to communicate with these radios it would be greatly appreciated. Does any one know what good these radios are for? From what I understand theses models can not be converted to ham bands. :(
