My xyl Ka8snh had to goto Silver Spring area ( DC) to aid her mother who had major cancer surgery. She rented a car from a local Entreprise office. The Deal went VERY WELL. Was during the power black out from the hurricane. They upgraded the car, and waived severl extra fees. The total cost was much less than I expected. I just want to thank Enterprise for the rental.

I've also always had good experiences with Enterprise and never any problems. Somehow my XYL always manages to get them furious, though.

Enterprise is a good rental company.. Never a problem, but this will make you laugh.

My car decided to try to light wiring up, so I filed an insurance claim. Needing to get to work and back, I rented a car from Enterprise.
Brand new Neon. Unfortunately, it was with an automatic transmission, but what a take off.
I was working as a courier at the time, so I took advantage of the trunkspace, and drove the 38 miles to work, the 100 plus on route, and the 38 back home, with the company buying the gas.

Remember, they sell these cars off at 5,000 miles.

Two weeks of this (damn, I miss that car), and I had to turn it in. Guy goes out to check the mileage.. 4,800 miles in two weeks http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
He makes a comment, I said "it's a fun car to drive!"

The company was also paying me mileage.

So, I wasn't buying gas.
I was being paid for the mileage on top of my hours.
And the insurance company paid for the car, which I wish I owned.

Does it get better than that? lol

But, Enterprise is my first choice for a car rental.. Their "we'll pick you up" and low hassle made them first rate as far as I am concerned..

Oh, and they'll take you back too http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

I've rented from ALL the rental car folks - from the 'BIG THREE' all the way to the local single-shop small-fleet shops.

Enterprise wins hands up or hands down. (Too bad they don't have many Enterprise outlets at MAJOR airports like BWI, JFK, LGA, and (yes for AE6IP) Sacremento, LAX, and of of thsoe towns he mentioned in Kalyfornya. (AH'll be bahk, next time I have to go TDY) http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Each time I've needed them, outside of 'normal business' hours - they've been open. They came and got me, brought meto the shop OR brought a car TO ME and did the paperwork on site. Then they'd come to the car service shop when my car was fixed, do the paperwork where I was and that was that.

Nice people.. easy to deal with.. customer oriented focus and service. Sure wish the BIG THREE had that kind of attitude TODAY like they had it back when..

Enterprise is a winner!
