It's certainly a catch 22 with ebay. On live chat ,which I just finished a few minutes ago, concluded that the information in my accound was not the same as what was on file when I established the account. I gave the same address and information that I have been using for 3 years and the operator of course said "wrong". Some one maybe is using my identity to have taken over my ebay account. Scarey Huh??
He offered nothing in the way of establishing a new account, so he gave me a different ebay page to communicate through which is not even two way active. I guess my future purchases will have to be done some where else. Anybody ever hear of this where you can't even call on a land line and establish an account? Go to this link and click on "report".You may have to sign first but this should get you a reply.I recently got an email that said it was from Ebay security. In reality it was someone trying to get password and account info.I forwarded it to eBay and got a message back that it was a faked ebay message and that I should check my account info and change my password. This is not the first time someone has tried to get ebay account info from me.You have to be careful that someone doesnt steal your idenity and cause you a lot of problems before you can straighten it out.
Hope this helps.

eBay, like Google, Yahoo, and so many others, give you no way to ever contact them or communicate with a human.

They are nothing more than automated money collecting machines, set up by some invisible clown who's always out to lunch.
