Someone is using My callsign details to sell things on QRZ. I defintely have NOTHING at all for sale and if I had I would not post it on QRZ anyway. This is a serious matter

This apparently is a big issue with qrz swap areas.

I posted a "Want" for a radio and my mailbox was sent many emails from what appeared to be UK hams offering me the radio.

What tipped me off was the asking prices and certain words used sounded bogus.

Needless to say, nothing came of it, but I do agree, don't deal with anyone off QRZ.COM unless you are using the email they show as email and even then use caution.

BTW, one of those G calls wasn't a G* from Coventry was it by chance?
I had one answer a want, and I believe the party has done it to others.
