I purchased a radio from this individual. Said it was in really good condition. Forgot to mention the two huge holes drilled in the case and rear of the chassis. Guess it slipped his mind.
Make sure to ask alot of questions.......... http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif

Update- got a chance to test the radio. Guess what? DOESNT WORK. It is locked on one Frequency. Just keeps getting better.

When I purchased the radio I didnt realize he was a ham. He said he couldnt test the radio. Seems kind of odd that a General with the equipment he has wouldnt have a dummy load...........

Ask alot of questions of the seller. If he doesn't like it or does not respond - you don't need to buy from anyway. Most people do not mind answering questions about their equipment. W5ZZQ.......

Normally I do. But this person had plenty of feedback. I didnt feel he was a threat. I have made tons of purchases online. I usually dont have a problem staying away from the junk. I looked it over(pics) and it appeared fine. Said it was good. I figured for the price..........

Anyways he is avoiding my emails. Since I confronted him about the junk pile.
I will make updates to the outcome.
